    Olympic Spirit

While it’s a bit colder outside, I hope you have the chance to catch some of the Olympics. A big congratulations to the Black Ferns for already securing a gold medal, it bodes well for the rest of the competitions! It’s been great to see our local shops in St Heliers supporting Team NZ with their Olympic window displays.

Budget Business and Turning Tāmaki Pink

I hope you had a wonderful King’s Birthday Weekend! The sun was out and so was I with a few volunteers delivering leaflets for our upcoming community meeting (more on this below). Congratulations to all the remarkable Kiwis who received Royal Honour’s this weekend, including five fabulous members of our Tāmaki electorate who were honoured. I wish to acknowledge Lesley Milne (CNZM), Allison Ferguson (ONZM), John Collins (MNZM), Lorraine Cranmer Mentz (MNZM), and Dr Matire Harwood (KSM) for their work in our community and their appointments. It is inspiring to see the change even one individual can make in New Zealand.

    Welcome to 2024!

Welcome to 2024! I hope everyone had a great summer with time to relax and refresh. I was fortunate to spend time with family away from the phone and computer, but it didn’t take long to start thinking about what I wanted to achieve for 2024 in Tamaki, in Government and for ACT. It’s going to be a great year and we’ve hit the ground running.
